Mazes and Labyrinths

During this past week, some members of the course and myself cut and staked a rope labyrinth on the University chapel turfed quad area to acknowledge the beginning of lent. While the design created was labyrinthic, the project inspired the creation of my own maze concept for the site using Celtic knot motifs. Below are my design drawings and the sketch it was based on. And some photos of the final labyrinth.
