Barnwood Arboretum Excursion - Trees

On Tuesday the year group has a site visit to Barnwood Park and Arboretum as part of our Sustainable technology module. The Arboretum has a number of interesting trees, including Giant Redwoods (Sequoiadendron giganteum), a Wollemmi Pine (Wollemia nobilis), a young monkey puzzle (Araucaria araucana), and some natives like quaking aspen (Populus tremula) and silver birch (Betula pendula)
