Barcelona: Park Güell

During my time in Barcelona, I was luckily able to visit Antoni Gaudis Park Güell. A privatized park system composed of gardens and architectural elements. Built from 1900 to 1914, it was officially opened as a public park in 1926, and in 1984, UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site. It is a reflection of Gaudí's artistic flair and was created in his naturalist phase. Below are some sketches I made of what I saw while walking around the park, the left showcasing a curvilinear paving level change and tree pits in brick, and the right a tiered staircase and a group of cloudlike Pinus pinea (stone pines).
