Bucket fill weekly task
As part of this week's skill task, we were given a B&W base plan template to practice Photoshop rendering. The task was to complete a quick bucket-fill render on the site plan. Due to my familiarity with Photoshop, I wanted to create something a little less basic and add some more textural elements. However, as it's supposed to only be a quick skills task I tried to not get caught up in the potential overcomplication. The textures for the planting are 2 watercolour bases, where I have manipulated the hues to fit different tree and bush typologies, conifers being a colder green than broad-leaf deciduous. For the courtyard paving I used a pebble base that I edited to give a watercolour effect. And for the tarpaulins, I tried to add dimension with a rippled fabric effect.
