Figure Drawing

The brush pen is a media I am aiming to get better at using, so as a response to this week's reader around the human form I set myself the task of sketching people and statues from photos I have on my camera roll. My goal is to simplify the lines I use and better capture the shapes and lines that compose the body better. I tend to over-add line which crowds the sketch and also takes up more time. I used to practice life drawing regularly and have lost practice quite considerably due to the hiatus. I aim to get my fluency back this semester.
