Reading week modeling task - Sequential Sketches - 1
Over the YFP week, we were set the task of creating a basic CAD or sketch-up model of a rectangular park/garden space. Enclosed in hedging with 12 trees planted on a grid. Using the dimensioned plan given we were to create a basic model, add additional seating, a pavilion, a raised lawn and water features, and choose 3 viewpoints around the space. Then using printout copies, create 3 sequential sketches of the created scenes when populated.
Because I am trying to improve my use of Twinmotion, I also imported my model into the software and rendered and populated it using those tools. It from from that model that I chose my visualisations which I will attach in the following post.
My practice with Twinmotion is very limited, however, it is enjoyable as a rendering medium as it plays like a video game more than technical software. I also like how the aesthetics are softer and more detailed than Sketchup, and the textures have the option of animation. Below are some scenes from the model I created, and at the bottom an axonometric and isometric of the original SketchUp base model.
