Forest Ramble (Nature Playgarden) - Jurong Lake Gardens

My favourite part of the Jurong Lake Gardens complex was the Forest Ramble playground. Inspired by nature, all the features included were designed to let children to mimic the natural movements of the wildlife that inhabit Singapore's freshwater swamp forests.
Spanning 2.3 hectares, Forest Ramble is the largest nature play garden in the heartlands (areas beyond the city centre). With 13 different adventure stations all inspired by indigenous animals.
The PlayStations allow kids to glide through the air like the Grey Heron, jump around like Squirrels, or splash around like Otters.
Forest Ramble also contains inclusive play elements that allow children of all abilities to play together.
My favourite pieces of equipment were the nestlike structures and inlaid ground trampolines. It looked like immense fun as an adult, so I can only imagine the appeal as a child.
