Jurong Lake Floating Wetlands

Located North of Jurong Lake Gardens, the pictured floating wetlands are the largest man-made floating wetlands in Singapore. Managed under the National Water Agency PUB’s Active, Beautiful, Clean Waters Programme, they not only play a part in maintaining the water quality in the reservoir but also create a natural habitat for indigenous wildlife. What I loved walking around the space was the clean detailing of the boardwalks and railings. The fabrication was seamless and showed meticulous design. It was also teaming with aquatic wildlife and had ample seating. Making birdwatching easy. Also in very close proximity to cafes and a foodcourt market.
