Painting with Plants

For the RHS Wentworth Woodhouse Group Project, I focused on the painting pallet and justification poster, looking at textural layering, structure and the overall composition of the longborder submission design. For the submission sheet, as the project was looking at Impressionism and Neo-Impressionism in regard to painting, I linked all the chosen plants to applied painting techniques, grounds and styles. Using my own painting swatches as samples to visualise the thought process and concept.

This was one of my favourite parts of this project as it reminded me of my original motivations behind doing a design course, and was very reminiscent of the type of work I used in my application portfolio back in 2021 coming from a partially Fine Art background.
